Nature Is My Best Fishing Buddy

Everytime I go fishing , which is very regular it never ever worries me if I don't catch a thing. Friends often say Allen how come you go fishing so much, you will fish all day then when you do catch something you very seldom bring them home, instead you let them go......why?

The reason I fish so often is because I get to spend my time with my best Fishing Buddy in the world & quite seriously if it were up to me I could bury myself in a secluded place with nature, and a stream close by of course.
When you get to spend time with nature you are in a totally new world, no cars, phones,worries,stress, you are truly at peace with the universe & to me 1 day in nature recharges me more than a week off in the city.
Too many people get caught up in what the rat race creates, they take too much for granted and never stop long enough to appreciate what this beautiful world really has to offer.
Please guys take the time to write a post, tell us what makes Life Good for you as everyone is different what turns you on in life ? I just happen to like fishing with my mate nature.

Thanks for sharing that Allen. I have never had the opportunity to fish much, but my son enjoys it. He rarely catches anything tho, but totally enjoys the experience.

Hi Allen,
I am also a lover of fishing, not so much actually catching the fish, but i love to be anywhere near water. I try to get out in a boat as often as possible with a mate or two. Sitting in the river on a beautiful morning with the sun coming up on the horizon is my idea of perfection, it gives me a great appreciation of the world and lets me block out those things which i choose to block out. In fact this post has given me the urge....its 4.30am and i can't sleep, so i am going to head on down to the Maroochy river and throw a line in and watch the sun come up......Life Is Good!

Hi there Fisherman. What beautiful photo's It looks a lot like Rudi and I when we go fishing. Actually fishing is our excuse to just get away from the rut and renew ourselves again and it can only be done when you are surrounded by nature.

I havn't fished in many years. I do however enjoy the great outdoors kayaking. Last year I found this beautiful lake in the Okanagan Valley it's called Oyama Lake it is located in a small town here called Oyama. The lake has 27 islands on it and it takes about 1hour to paddle across it. I love the peacefulness of the lake. There were many fishermen on this little lake. But it still was a quiet lake. It took a while to find just the right island to have lunch on. =)
